Our employability services offer 5 programs that can help you find and maintain employment. They are designed for Canadians, permanent residents, refugees, asylum seekers, and in some cases, university students*. We also offer a pre-departure program to better prepare immigrants for the Canadian workforce before they arrive, a program for people living with disabilities and a variety of worskhops.

Our job search assistance program is designed for job seekers over 30 years of age. CDEM helps you write a proper résumé and cover letter. We also help you connect with potential employers. New in 2019: participants get take part in a 6-week paid* work experience. * minimum salary
Students enrolled in the grade 10-12-level class of the work-study program at Collège Louis-Riel (CLR) regularly made the trip to CDEM to attend our Destination emploi training. The employment training session combining theory and practical exercises was followed by a ten-week paid internship secured by the students during their training.
